Wyoming Station is situated 70 klm south of Mt Garnet on the Gunnawarra Road, which is accessible via the Kennedy Highway. It is approximately 178klm from Atherton, 212klm Mareeba and 419 klm north of Charters Towers.

Wyoming has STD telephone, rural power, satellite TV and Internet service. Twice weekly mail service from Mt Garnet. A backup generator is located in the workshop. Weekly cattle sales conducted at Charters Towers and Mareeba Saleyards, Live Export facilities located at Mourilyan, Karumba and Townsville. Clearing Dip facility at Sugarbag Yards Mt Garnet.
Improvements include a large comfortable 3 bedroom, open plan homestead with an adjoining 3 bedroom self contained guest accommodation. A large covered veranda with views across the flowing spring and plains is on the main homestead. Two large sheds, one is a work shop with cement floor and power connected the other a large machinery/ hay storage shed. All set in an attractive and established garden and lawn.

Predominately flat open plains with the balance being open and lightly timbered basalt country. Wyoming consists of approximately 40% red & chocolate basalt soils with the balance being open black soil plains. It is timbered with Ironbark, Box, Bloodwood and Black Ti tree and heavily grassed with mainly native pastures including, black spear, blue grass, Indian couch, kangaroo grass with some stylo. Areas of Rhodes grass and kikuyu have been introduced.
Wyoming enjoys excellent water facilities with both Leichardt and Lava Springs being pristine permanent flowing springs, flowing at an estimated one million gallons per day. A well distributed water supply is provided through 17 Dams and 4 Bores plus semi and permanent creeks and springs. One bore is equipped with an electric submersible, with the others equipped with windmills or generator plants. Numerous troughs are spread over the property.

Wyoming is fully boundary fenced and subdivided into 15 main paddocks plus 5 smaller holding paddocks. All the fencing is in good condition and is mostly 4 barb construction. A central laneway runs throughout the property with access to all of the larger paddocks.

Wyoming consistently carries 2500 adult cattle.
